Body Alchemy Yoga provides bespoke yoga coaching and classes for individuals, small groups and corporate groups.

A busy yoga class can feel like the loneliest place sometimes.. whether its your first time on the mat, a long time between visits, or just simply not feeling like you really fit the profile of the bendy yogi girl in much of modern marketing.. they often can't fufill many of the unique needs of each individual, causing many to end their yoga journey before they've really begun, lead to injury, or simply feeling isolated, quite literally, in a sea of mats!

You know what? It shouldn't be like that!

Yoga CAN serve you in a multitude of different ways. It never judges. It never compares.

It can be super difficult to not feel like there are enough hours in the day. With all the amazing things you do to keep your family happy and healthy, your friends in your life, your partner feeling loved, you often don't see the fine print right at the bottom of the ridiculously long list asking quietly "What about me?"

Yoga has become one of the most popular and transformational practices in this crazy beautiful world of ours. From elite athletes to CEO's, to overtired, overstressed mums, yoga can help ease a multitude of physical, mental and emotional blocks that we face in modern everyday life.  These can range from:-

  • Increasing supply of blood and nutrients to the muscles and releases connective tissue
  • Supporting mental health and emotional well-being
  • Improving poor posture that can cause headaches, backaches
  • Harnessing the breath. Stress is often associated with breath directed mainly to the chest. Yoga teaches you how to breath into the diaphragm, activating the parasympathetic nerve receptors through deep breathing (Pranayama) that leads to that post practice 'Zen' feeling! 
  • Easing insomia, chronic and adrenal fatigue, and symptoms of depression
  • Assisting in pre and post- natal care, as well as giving birth 

Most importantly, a meaningful yoga practice teaches you how to LISTEN TO YOUR BODY. 

Traditionally, yoga is taught in a one-on-one setting. A dedicated time and space for teacher and student, welcoming the curiosity of a Beginner's mind. 

A Body Alchemy  consultation brings my experience of practicing and teaching yoga over the last 11 years to start you on a journey that gets you back on track with feeling beautiful in your body, empowered in your actions, and conscious in your thoughts.
